BACKGROUND

A division of the Care Inspectorate has established partnerships between schools and care homes to help improve the opportunities for mobility for older people. Springhill House care home has been paired with Gargieston Early Childhood Centre and twice a week a group of up to ten children go up to the home to play, colour, share a snack and chat with the residents.
